Vastu
Vāstu Shastra is an ancient Indian science of architecture and space that harmonizes human life with the natural elements. Rooted in the Vedic tradition, Vāstu is often described as the “yoga of living spaces,” offering guidelines on how to design, organize, and align buildings so that they support health, prosperity, and inner balance.
The principles of Vāstu are based on the five great elements — earth, water, fire, air, and space — and the way energy flows through a structure. By understanding directions, proportions, and placement, Vāstu seeks to create environments where these forces are in balance. Homes, offices, and temples built in harmony with Vāstu are believed to attract positive energy, improve relationships, and enhance overall well-being.
A Vāstu consultation typically examines the orientation of your space, the layout of rooms, and the positioning of key elements like entrances, kitchens, and sleeping areas. Even small adjustments — such as changing room usage, placement of objects, or color choices — can shift the energy significantly.
At its heart, Vāstu is not just about architecture, but about living in tune with universal order. It is a way of shaping our surroundings so that they nurture, rather than obstruct, our growth and happiness.
